Are there two endings? I gave up on trying to kill the nightmare, just maxed up my skills by running and jumping in a tunnel, and used the computer ending where she starts fighting Mr. Deity.
Is that a bad ending, whereas if you kill the nightmare instead of becoming it, that would be a good ending?

Just the one ending. I don't believe in non linear plots :)
